Exactly one month after its debut at the Teatro Regio di Parma, Il matrimonio segreto, dramma giocoso in two acts by Domenico Cimarosa, goes live in streaming on operavision.eu on March 10th, 2023, at 7 pm. The opera, available with Italian and English subtitles, will remain available on the platform until September 10th, 2023.
A new production co-produced with Ópera de Tenerife and Teatro Massimo of Palermo, created in 2021 as part of Opera (e)Studio in Tenerife, the opera was staged for the 2023 Opera Season, directed by Roberto Catalano, and conducted by Davide Levi, on the podium of the Cupiditas Orchestra. The sets were by Emanuele Sinisi, costumes by Ilaria Ariemme, lighting by Fiammetta Baldiserri, and choreographic movements by Sandhya Nagaraja. Starring Giulia Mazzola (Carolina), Antonio Mandrillo (Paolino), Veta Pilipenko (Fidalma), Francesco Leone (Geronimo), Marilena Ruta (Elisetta), Jan Antem (Count Robinson). The production sets the story on 1950s Broadway, where Geronimo, a Neapolitan who has emigrated to New York, has opened a luxurious pastry shop and dreams of his two daughters marrying rich aristocrats. But the youngest daughter, Carolina, who dreams of making her debut in Broadway theatres with her idol Gene Kelly, loves the delivery boy, Paolino, whom she marries in secret.

All the scheduled operas are accompanied by extra and in-depth content, backstage videos and interviews with the cast and creative team, with subtitles in various languages.
