The Opéra National du Rhin has appointed Chrysoline Dupont as its next director.
Le Figaro is reporting that Dupont will succeed Alain Perroux, who is set to begin a new position at the Grand Théâtre de Genève.
Over the years, Dupont has worked at the Opéra de Paris as a Project manager and at the Festival Aix-En-Provence. She has also worked with the Paris Chamber Orchestra and with the Opéra-Comique.
She will take the position in 2026.
Next season the Opéra National du Rhin is set to present productions of “Picture a Day Like This,” “Sweeny Todd,” “Werther,” and “Les Contes d’Hoffmann.”
