Cristina Pasaroiu grew up in Romania during the 1990s. Her passion for classical music started when she bought her first CD at the age of 12 with part of her mom’s modest lottery winnings. She followed her dream, winning local competitions that earned her a place in the top music schools in Milan and Vienna. Over her 15-year career, Cristina has been celebrated at renowned opera houses, concert halls, and festivals for her intense stage presence and versatile soprano voice, winning opera lovers’ hearts in over 40 leading roles. Lead roles include Cosí fan tutte, La Bohème, Otello, La Rondine, Turandot, Carmen, Les Contes d’Hoffmann, and Les Huguenots on the World’s most prestigious opera stages in Berlin, Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich, Barcelona, Bologna, Paris, Nice, Tokyo, and Seoul. Cristina Pasaroiu continues to impress with her extraordinary performances in a wide range of operatic roles and concert performances.
Most recently Cristina discovered her creative self and skills she couldn’t express in Opera. For years, she measured herself by “freedom within a frame” recreating for a time the emotions of life, hope, sadness, and death through the characters she gave voice and personified. In 2021, Cristina started composing, and became interested in a mix of lyrical singing and electronic pop beats. Her latest original tracks Ashes Into Fire, Wings to Fly and Grazie have been released in 2023 and are steadily gaining popularity on Spotify and Apple Music.
