Alejandro Navarrette is a young opera singer, musical theater performer, and author. He’s currently a student of Singing at the Institute of Music of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile with Patricio Sabaté (baritone) and Eun Seong Hong (pianist) with a focus on opera, and classical music. He took his first singing lessons at the age of 14 at the Music Academy of soprano Veronica Villarroel, which got him to fall in love with the art. He started his singing career at the University of Chile, and has also studied musical theatre professionally with GO Broadway in New York. Throughout his studies he’s been learning as much as he can about everything that surrounds the world of singing, including lessons, books, and masterclasses on piano, guitar, composition, acting, dance, photography, design, business, marketing, and personal development, all which led him to write his first book, The 360° Artist, and now, The 360° Artist Workbook. He’s also written 360° Quotes and is working on 360° Habits. He’s been part of a series of concerts, operas and musical productions including the first professional production of the musical Les Misérables in Chile, Zúñiga in Bizet’s Carmen, Leporello and Papageno Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Die Zauberflöte respectively, and has been a member of half a dozen choirs including a vocal octet from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile directed by Felipe Ramos Taky, and an independent vocal ensemble directed by the Chilean National Award for Musical Arts Carmen Luisa Letelier.
