The baritone Anton Beliaev was born in Yekaterinburg, Russia. His artistic journey began at the Sergei Rachmaninoff Music School as a soloist in the children's choir. In 2020, he graduated with honours from the Tchaikovsky College in Yekaterinburg with Prof. Valery Gurevich. The same year, he completed his bachelor studies at the Berlin School of Music 'Hanns Eisler' with Prof. Dr. Michail Lanskoi. During his studies, he participated in many college-staged projects, including Britten's Curlew River (Traveller), Puccini's La Bohème (Marcello), Ravel's L'heure Espagnole (Ramiro), and Verdi's Luisa Miller (Miller). Most recently, he performed solo parts in the world premiere of the contemporary operas D/Faced and Haut at the Tischlerei of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. He has recently been accepted as a member of the Young Artists Studio at the Semperoper in Dresden. He will simultaneously begin his Master's studies at the Berlin School of Music 'Hanns Eisler'. In the summer of 2023, he was awarded the Third Prize at the prestigious international opera competition CLIP in Portofino.
