Diana Skavronskaya graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory, specializing in Opera Singing and Performance. She won the Boris Tchaikovsky (2019) and Ippolitov-Ivanov International Competitions (2014) and took the third prize in the Romansiada International competition (2019), known far and wide as the world’s most competitive. Diana has graced the stages of the most prestigious Concert Halls across Europe, captivating audiences in Italy, Germany, Belgium, Georgia, Russia, and various Asian countries. Diana’s journey has been enriched by learning from esteemed vocal coaches such as Galina Pisarenko (Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater), Makvala Kasrashvili and Dmitry Vdovin (Bolshoi), Kristina Mkhitaryan (Soloist of Royal Opera House, the Metropolitan Opera, Wiener Staatsoper), as well as Dr. Julia Hunt-Nielsen (San Francisco Opera Theatre), who refined her vocal skills and praised her dedication and artistry. Diana’s experience prepared her to assume leading roles in the operatic repertoire.
She had the privilege of collaborating with voice experts, accompanists, conductors, and stage directors of the highest professional calibre. Diana was honoured to perform at the prestigious Yuri Bashmet Festival in Sochi, sharing the stage with acclaimed Bolshoi soloists and world-renowned artists.
Among the highlights are working with such notable figures as Sebastian F. Schwarz (Artistic Director of Teatro Regio Torino), Eva Wagner-Pasquier (German Opera manager, great-granddaughter of Richard Wagner and a great-great-granddaughter of Franz Liszt), Dmitry Vdovin (Artistic Director of the Bolshoi), and Lubov Orfenova (pianist, Merited Artist of the Russian Federation).
