Eve-Maud Hubeaux was born in Geneva and studied piano at the Lausanne Conservatory before starting her vocal studies there. She developed her international career from the opera studio of the Opéra National du Rhin after graduating a Master degree in Contract Law at Université de Savoie. Eve-Maud Hubeaux has won numerous competitions, including the International Belvedere Competition (2013) and the 5th Renata Tebaldi International Competition. Already after her successful appearances at houses such as the Vienna State Opera (Don Carlos/Eboli), the Liceu Barcelona (La Favorite/Léonor de Guzman), the Paris Opera (Le soulier de satin/Dona Prouhèze), the Deutsche Oper Berlin (Carmen/Carmen and La Monnaie Bruxelles (Tristan und Isolde/Brangäne), Eve-Maud Hubeaux was able to join the new ranks of important singers of this repertoire.
During the 2022/23 season, she reunites with Teodor Currentzis and MusicAeterna for a tour of Verdi’s Requiem. Now a regular guest of the Paris Opera, she returns in the role of Gertrude in Hamlet and at the Vienna State Opera with Carmen and Mère Marie in The Dialogues des Carmelites. She will make her debut at the Staatsoper Berlin as Eboli in the Italian version of Don Carlo.
Her concert repertoire includes for example Bach’s St. Matthew Passion under Leo Hussain, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Berlioz’s Les Nuits d’été conducted by Marko Letonja and La mort de Cléopâtre conducted by Bertrand de Billy, Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder (Orchestre National d’Ile de France)
