The Russian soprano Julia Muzychenko, born in Sankt Petersburg, is one of the rising stars of her generation, currently a permanent presence both on the stage of important opera houses and concert halls. Her repertoire includes roles such as Nanetta (Falstaff), Violetta Valery (La Traviata), Norina (Don Pasquale) and Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus). She performed in important theaters around the world, among which there is the Opera National de Montpellier, Festival Verdi in Bussetto, Teatro Comunale Bolzano, Opera de Tenerife, Hermitage Theater in Saint Petersburg. She has worked with distinguished conductors, such as Christoph Gedschold, Antonino Fogliani, John Fiore, Riccardo Frizza, Alessandro Palumbo, Zbyněk Müller, Michael Schønwandt, Sergey Stadler, Sebastian Weigle, Roderick Cox, Allondra de La Parra among many others. As a member of the Junges Ensemble of the Dresden Semperoper, Julia performed roles as Musetta (La Bohème), Olympia (Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Sandmännchen/Taumännchen (Hänsel und Gretel) and Papagena (Die Zauberflöte).
