Inna Demenkova made a radiant Glyndebourne Festival debut as Fiorilla in Il turco in Italia, earning praise for her sparkling coloratura, captivating stage presence, and a vocal brilliance celebrated for its luminous clarity and expressive finesse. In the 2024/25 season, Inna returns to Dutch National Opera as Ksenia in Kirill Serebrennikov’s new production of Boris Godunov, appears as the soprano soloist in Verdi’s Messa da Requiem with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra under Lorenzo Viotti, and sings Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro at Palm Beach Opera.
Other career highlights include Lauretta and Suor Genovieffa in Barrie Kosky’s Il trittico at Dutch National Opera, Berenice in L’occasione fa il ladro at Theater an der Wien, and Juliette in Roméo et Juliette at Bühnen Bern. A graduate of the Dutch National Opera Studio in Amsterdam, Inna appeared in house productions as Frasquita (Carmen), 1st Nymph (Rusalka), Zweite Zofe (Der Zwerg), Annina (La traviata), and Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), as well as in contemporary and baroque projects including Denis & Katya and Opera in Paradiso: Kings and Queens, a collaboration between Christof Loy and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.
Inna Demenkova is the 3rd Prize winner of both the José Carreras Grand Prix Vocal
Competition and The Queen Sonja International Music Competition, affirming her position as one of the promising lyric sopranos of her generation.
